Next to Somtum, La Monita is also in the alley and, according to Google, is worth a visit. So I went there too. I ordered the tongue tacos, a small quesedilla as a starter, a Mexican salad, and a cocktail. It didn’t look like the pictures and didn’t come in the order you’d expect (the starter came last 😀 ). The tongue tacos were very good (you could spice it up a bit with the sauces). The quesedilla with New Zealand short ribs was also great. The Mexican salad was probably Mexican because of the dressing 😉 , but also good. The mango cocktail was great. If you’re staying for a long time, it’s definitely worth repeating for a change.
