Ippudo is a restaurant chain specializing in ramen (and probably sushi, too). I actually wanted to go to another ramen restaurant, but I was running late, so I went to Ippudo in the Central Embassy. The restaurant is just a few meters from the boat noodle shop, where you always have to wait in line. However, I was in the mood for ramen. I like the broth and the slightly chewy noodles. You can’t specify exactly how you want your ramen at Ippudo, although that’s usually the case at other ramen restaurants. So I ordered the current offering: spicy black ramen and gyoza in chili oil. The ramen came quite quickly and was, as expected, quite tasty. The gyoza took a while to arrive, as they’re freshly made. I didn’t get the fried version this time, but they were also very tasty. All in all, I don’t think you can go wrong with an Ippudo ;).
