Din Tai Fung actually comes from Taiwan; I think there are four restaurants there now. There are also branches in Singapore and here in Bangkok. I think Din Tai Fung is the only Dim Sum restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star (in Taiwan). The Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) with truffle are famous, but you can only get them in Taiwan. The restaurant is also located on the fifth floor of the Central Embassy, and you can almost always get a seat. I go here at least once every time I’m here. The dumplings and gyoza are delicious and a change from the spicy food ;).
