Swiss First Lounge E

After a long Covid period, the First Lounge in Terminal E is open again. It’s one of my favorite lounges ever. When the weather’s nice, you can go out onto the terrace. The lounge is very well equipped with showers, relaxation rooms, and serves very good food. For me, it even beats the FCT in Frankfurt. Arriving from Paris, you go to the Domestic First Lounge and are taken from there to Terminal E (okay, you could also take the Alpine train 😉 ). The weather was still great at the beginning, and I enjoyed the sun outside and watched the planes. Funny this time, a small old sports car (Porsche) was being loaded onto the fondue. Everyone who walked by took pictures. I had the cheese fondue this time (it was too early for more). The waitress in the lounge then brought the cherry brandy and poured a generous amount of it into the fondue (okay, and a small one into the glass).

The weather then worsened, delaying takeoff by an hour. The fondue also meant I didn’t need to eat anything else on the plane and could go straight to sleep.
