I’m sharing a few pictures of my apartment here in Kaštel Štafilić (near Split). I booked the accommodation through Airbnb for just under four weeks (I got a small discount there too). The apartment itself wouldn’t be bad if it had been furnished differently. The dining table is in an inconvenient position. If two people sit at it, the refrigerator won’t open and it’s difficult to get a seat (kudos to the photographer who took the pictures for this site). Another problem is that there’s construction going on next door. The landlady informed me three days before my arrival. Then I was told it would only be five days. After I arrived, it turned out to be ten, but they’re adding a floor, which will take the whole summer.
The location is great (apart from the fact that it’s a bit close to the airport, so you can occasionally hear the planes. But since Split doesn’t have much air traffic, that’s bearable). It’s less than 100 meters from the sea, and you can then walk for a long time along the water to the right or left. Funnily enough, there are only restaurants on the right side (I’ve already featured most of them here).
