The Hong Bao I visited is on the 5th floor of the Central Embassy. As usual, I didn’t make a reservation, but after checking for availability, I was still allowed in ☺️. I actually came mainly for the dim sum, so I ordered accordingly: Custard salted egg buns, frozen gras xiao long bao, crispy duck rice roll, shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, and pig’s ears 🤭. The table filled up very quickly, and what can I say? It all reminded me a lot of Hong Kong. The pig’s ears were wonderfully dressed (you could also have them as a snack while watching TV in the evening). The same goes for the chicken feet; they have a unique texture and are superbly seasoned. The shrimp dumplings in red chili oil were also delicious. The Froe Gras Xiao Long Bao (coup dumplings) were also very good, but Din Tai Fung does a better job 😉. Then there were the custard salted egg buns, which I love as a dessert, but they came second (but I saved two for last 😇). The whole thing was a lot; one less dish would have easily been enough 😂, but I just wanted to try everything. The service was also excellent, and the dinner plates were changed frequently (it was almost embarrassing). All in all, I’ll definitely be back!

Been there again with a friend, just showing you some food variations as it is still good!
