Bold is also a Michelin-App recommendation. However, I’ve been too stupid to find it ever since, even though it’s actually quite easy. It’s also located in the basement of the Central Embassy; you just have to choose the right exit. Bold offers a very wide selection of authentic Thai dishes and is actually even better than Eathai next door. I once ordered the mango salad with grilled pork belly (my previous favorite at Eathai is no longer available) and pork with shrimp and scrambled eggs. Both were delicious, but I don’t think most farangs dislike it (just because of the fish sauce). Unfortunately, I was the only customer (it’s a bit awkwardly located, and people probably want to see what they’re getting beforehand and tend to go to Eathai next door, which is a shame).
