Kisu Izakaya Phloen Chit

Kisu Izakaya is a Japanese restaurant, although not a sushi restaurant. Instead, it offers a variety of grilled or fried dishes. You can imagine it like Spanish tapas. I ordered the salmon and avocado salad, fried vegetables (could have been onions), squid, gyoza, and another type of grilled sardine. The only dish that was lacking in flavor was the squid; it lacked enough zest. The gyoza were average, but not bad. The rest was excellent, especially the salmon and avocado salad with toasted sesame seeds and egg yolk. The restaurant was very busy, and most tables had “reserved” signs on them. It’s best to come as a group, so you can try a lot more.
