I didn’t really want to go to a steakhouse again, but my companion insisted on a steak. Since El Gaucho was nearby and I already knew it from the Mercure, we went there. When we ordered, it turned out that my companion wasn’t very hungry and didn’t know much about steaks (she wanted a 100g T-bone 😀 ). I went for the small sirloin (250g) and we shared the fries. Since that looked a bit silly, we also had the bone marrow (which came a bit after the steak). The selection here seems a bit larger than at Soi 11. The steak was very good, grilled to perfection (medium-rare). The Shiraz red wine was also good to drink. Okay, we finished with a Fernet (if only because of the very fatty bone marrow). Could do with a repeat 😉
