Rod Dee is also a brand new restaurant on Soi 11. They also serve authentic Thai street food, which isn’t quite as frank as it sounds, meaning it’s quite spicy ;). As the name suggests, they serve seafood, and I opted for a curry with a side of vegetables and papaya salad. At first, I thought I’d have to order more chili for the curry, but that quickly changed (it’s rare that I get so sloppy 😀 ). The morning glory and papaya salad were also quite tasty. I’ll definitely visit Rod Dee again; it’s a good alternative to the one next door (Tin Hut 2 😉 ).
UPDATE: The Rod Dee is sadly no longer there. The entire complex with its restaurants and bars has been demolished (as you can see on the last image). A new skyscraper will soon be built there 😔
