Jirakaan is somewhat inconspicuously located in a small side street (next to Det5). I noticed it while walking by. So it was time to try this restaurant on Soi 8. They had a traditional appetizer, consisting of various ingredients rolled in betel leaves, and a lamb curry. Both were delicious, although the lamb was a bit tough (it should have melted in your mouth). They also had fresh guava juice to drink, which was also very good. Definitely worth another visit; you need a change of scenery 😉 What’s also great is that you can sit outside; the area can even be covered. So it’s an air-conditioning-free alternative 😀
