After so many hawkers, it was time for something different: sushi. Das-Ichi is quite close to the hotel and right next to my durian shop (so dessert is already taken care of 😀 ). I ordered sashimi, mixed kochu (half sashimi and half fried), and my two standards, uni and unagi. Sashimi was a real treat after the flop in Bangkok; they were well-cut and served at the right temperature. Uni and unagi were very tasty, even if they didn’t look like usual. The fried part of the kochu was also very tasty, and you still had some bones to crunch on :D. All in all, very tasty, but not exactly cheap, but appropriate for the quality.
Oh yes, ordering here works via an app/website where you enter your items and then submit them. The order actually arrives. However, you pay at the checkout and not via the app. The whole thing worked much better than at the Vietnamese restaurant where I ordered. Quite a few restaurants/bars here have the QR code on the table thing. I wonder if this is a consequence of COVID, or if people here are just more advanced…
