Morganfield’s Pavilion

Morganfield’s is a chain restaurant. I visited the Pavilion because I was short on time during the break and the next meeting was pressing. They had Iberico baby back ribs, peppered with truffle mashed potatoes and coleslaw (although the side dishes were rather homeopathic). The ribs were only peppered and not marinated (a glass of Jack Daniels), which was also served separately. I think proper ribs should be marinated in fat and then caramelized a bit under the grill, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. The ribs were still good (albeit very fatty, which is why I needed another Remy). Why they needed truffled mashed potatoes is also a mystery to me (it was too artificial). As I said, all in all, it was still acceptable.
