I actually wanted to go to Paste again on my last evening, but the last available slot was at 9 p.m., which was too late for me (and I’m also still battling a cold). Then I remembered Na Aroon; I’ve been here several times before, but it’s unfortunately a bit out of the way. Na Aroon is at the very end of Soi 1 and is very idyllically situated. It’s one of the few restaurants that doesn’t have air conditioning, just a couple of fans. But that evening also revealed its downside: lots of mosquitoes attacking you. Anyway, there was a delicious salad with tamarind sauce (I can’t remember what the green one was) and another Tom Yum Goong (you can never go wrong with that, except maybe in the First Class Lounge on a Thai airline 😀 ). There was also a pineapple ginger smoothie (unfortunately with a bit too little ginger this time).

And again …
