I stumbled upon Chor-Ma-Lee via a TikTok video. Their signature dish is ox foot. I also ordered their dumplings and fried lotus roots. The ox foot, as described on the menu, came under a glass dome with smoke. The smoke left a pleasant aroma. It also came with vegetables and two eggs (duck). The foot itself is most comparable to chicken feet at a Chinese restaurant. It’s basically pure gelatin and has no meat. The taste wasn’t bad, though, and it was very filling. The dumplings were good too. The lotus root was really tasty, it was sweet! All in all, it was good. At first, I had my doubts, as I was the only one in the restaurant, but later, significantly more guests arrived.
