Rib Room and Bar

The Rib Room is on the 31st floor of the Landmark, so it certainly offers a good view. This restaurant has been on my to-do list for a while, and it’s also a Michelin recommendation, so I went there before heading home. As always, I wore casual attire (including flip flops 🤭), which wasn’t a problem. I got a nice seat by the window with a good view. I ordered the Caesar salad, onion soup, and steak with fries. I started with a Negroni, followed by a Shiraz. The amuse-bouche was okay. A huge bowl of Caesar salad was brought out, and it was very stylishly prepared at the table, and the whole thing was very good. The dressing was great; unfortunately, the croutons didn’t quite live up to the overall quality. The onion soup arrived shortly after the salad, so the timing could have been improved a bit 😉 The croutons, or rather the bread in the soup, weren’t quite up to par. Then there was another short starter, a mango sorbet (good). Then came the steak, very good quality meat and perfectly grilled. The fries were a bit too thick for my liking. All in all, very tasty.
