Polo Fried Chicken was once again recommended by the Michelin Guide. Judging by the awards on the walls, they’ve probably held that status for a while. The restaurant itself is rather unassuming. They serve either fried chicken or fish. They also serve various papaya salads and vegetables. I opted for half a chicken and a papaya salad with salted eggs. The chicken was quite crispy, but the breast was still quite dry. The seasoning was very tasty, though. The papaya salad was delicious! Since the restaurant is quite small, it fills up pretty quickly. I was lucky enough to get a seat right away; others had to wait outside for a table.
The route there was also quite amusing. It led to a long ‘bridge’ directly over a canal. There were joggers, cyclists, and pedestrians along the way. The only drawback is that there are only a few entrances and exits, which can lead to significant detours.
