And yet another Japanese restaurant, Katsura. Katsura is somewhat tucked away in the back courtyard. It’s known for its kontaksu (breaded pork cutlet, but not really comparable to a Wiener schnitzel). That was also on my bucket list. Oh yes, the restaurant also offers sushi, which I also ordered as a starter, a macaron salad. For the main course, I had kontaksu with truffles and green tea (unfortunately, I couldn’t order sake due to a holiday). The starter salad was excellent, especially the sesame dressing, but the fish was also superb. I have a bit more trouble with the kontaksu. It was actually very good, but the excessive truffle oil, or rather the paste, was so overpowering that I probably should have chosen a different version. All in all, it was quite good. The restaurant filled up quite quickly, so there will be a wait later on (there’s a bench downstairs at the entrance for that).
