A quick addendum to my trip, again to Bangkok (Songkran Party). This time, the flight was booked using Miles & More miles (with Companion Reward, meaning only half the miles are needed for a companion). Since Lufthansa isn’t actually flying to Bangkok from Frankfurt at the moment, we had to make a short stopover in Munich. From there, we flew to Bangkok on an A350. The seating in the BC is 2-2-2, which I find very impractical, as you always have to step over someone at the windows if you want to get out. The Senator Lounges in FRA and MUC are okay (unfortunately, we were too late for the white sausages in MUC). The food on the plane itself was also good, although the service (in my opinion) is better on Swiss and Austrian (which is also what my companion thought).

The return flight was the exact opposite, from Bangkok via Munich to Frankfurt. Since we’d already eaten quite a bit in the Silverkris Lounge on the Singapore Airlines, I only had the appetizer (Parma ham) and the cheese on the plane. The service was even worse than on the outbound flight. In Munich, we had the white sausages instead. They weren’t quite as good as in the first-class lounge, but still pretty good 😉 . Speaking of the lounge, they also had durian ice cream in the Singapore Lounge 😀
