The Safari Inn is located between Nyali and Mtwapa. The owner is Swiss, so they serve a pretty good rösti as a side dish :). I usually try to eat at a local restaurant when I’m abroad, but given the options, I’m forced to change. I’ve been here a few times before with friends. These days, it’s not just Tuesdays that are busy, but also Thursdays and the weekends (there’s live music here). You should arrive by 7:00 PM to get a seat. This time I had shashlik with rösti and kachumbari (tomato salad). Everything was quite good and appropriate for the location.
