I already knew the Anuba from my last visits, and it survived Covid. The Anuba has a lovely ‘outdoor area’, open on the sides. The interior is usually a bit too well air-conditioned for me ;). As the name suggests, the Anuba is a lounge where music is played (not a disco, although people dance inside too). However, the Anuba is also a restaurant. For a change, I occasionally take advantage of this option. This time I had grilled fish, which unfortunately didn’t come grilled, but cooked (it was okay, but not as well done as in Thailand). It came with fries and kachumbari. The red wine (by the glass) was quite good. The bar is also very well-selected; they even have a Lagavoulin (and at a good price, too). Only a few Mzungos wander into the Anuba these days, but that doesn’t bother me :D.
