The Food Exchange is the Novotel’s restaurant, and I usually only go to hotel restaurants when it’s raining or I’m short on time. But there was an invitation for club members where wine and canapés were free, and for a Swabian, that’s reason enough :D. Okay, the red wine was very good, but I would have eaten myself hungry with the canapés 😉 So I ordered as usual. For starters, I had the mango crab salad, which was very good. For the main course, I had octopus on polenta (or semolina). The octopus was great, but I’m not so sure about the semolina; it was rather sweet if they left out the chorizo. For dessert, I had the mango cheesecake with mango ice cream, which was also very good. So, all in all, quite tasty, and thanks to the all-you-can-drink red wine, it was quite affordable 😀
