It was time for a piece of meat again :D. After having been to El Gaucho on my last visit, this time I went to El Toro. Besides steaks, the restaurant also offers churrascaria (there’s always someone walking around with a meat skewer). But I opted for a dry-aged ribeye. I also had a salad from the buffet. What always irritates me a bit in Asian restaurants is the cut. Here and in the US, they always cut it much thicker, here it’s always only about 1-1.5cm. Okay, the meat was still very good and grilled perfectly medium-rare (but I would have preferred it thicker). The salad buffet was also quite well stocked. If I were to go again, I’d probably choose the meat from the counter, as the cuts there are more what I’m used to, we’ll see.
