Sing Hing came up when I searched for claypot on Google. Although I’ve been to Asia many times, I don’t think I’ve ever had claypot (not sure about Hong Kong anymore). So I went to Sing Hing and was immediately surprised: the place was packed and you had to queue. It felt like home; if someone is sitting at a table, then it’s full :D. Okay, I got the menu while I was waiting and then ordered the shrimp claypot with a small side dish. I was then seated alone at a table for 8. Although when the line got too long, I got two other people to sit with me, who even apologized :D. The claypot was great and the fried dough side dish was good for soaking up the broth. The shrimp were only a bit ‘problematic’ to eat. For one thing, they were incredibly hot and for another, there were no towels at the table to clean your hands with. But I did get some after asking. As I said, the claypot was AWESOME.
