Punjab Grill

Punjab is also a recommendation from the Michelin Guide app and has been on my to-do list for a while. So I reserved a table using the Chope app (although the place is so big that this probably wasn’t really necessary). I was actually looking forward to the casting menu mentioned online, but it wasn’t on the menu (although one was apparently served at the next table, so maybe it’s only available upon request). Well, I ordered scallops, lamb, and something with mango for dessert. The problem with the scallops was that the spices didn’t leave much flavor. The lamb was delicious (two kinds, minced and chunks); it was supposed to be very spicy, but not really overly so. I once tried a filled naan with coconut with it, which was a bit sweet, but it went well with the dish. The dessert was quite funny. The sauce was hot and melted the chocolate. The waitress thought I wanted to film it too (like my two neighbors who took almost everything on video), but the before-and-after picture was completely sufficient for me. It was definitely delicious (Greek yogurt with infused mango). Uncharacteristically, I didn’t choose mango lassi this time, but rather a red wine.
