This time it was time for something new again: Hemingway’s. The restaurant is practically in front of the Mercury Hotel, so it would also be a good rainy option ;). The restaurant has two floors and a fairly large outdoor area. The interior isn’t really air-conditioned, as the front is completely open to the outside. I ordered burrata, lamb shank, and another pudding with ice cream. The burrata with tomatoes lacked a bit of creaminess (but it was still good). The lamb shank was great (low and slow); the meat just fell apart. The whole thing was served on mashed potatoes and spinach (you can’t really tell from the pictures). Dessert was also delicious (although I preferred the cheesecake, which was unfortunately sold out). They also had the house wine (recommendation, since it was happy hour). All in all, very good and perfect if you’re in the mood for something more local.
