OK, went to the Jodd Fairs night market again. There are still a few things to try. This time, pressed squid (you can also choose soft crab, salmon, bacon, or a combination thereof). A little batter goes into the press, and then the squid is nicely laid out. The whole thing is then pressed under high pressure and baked. It’s more about the show than the taste experience (but it’s not bad), and they also add a sauce with a brush 😀 . Then there were squid balls with tuna flakes (the ones in Taiwan were better). Then another XXL shrimp. And last but not least, a large piece of durian (you can hardly get that anywhere else these days, not even at the Central Embassy).
