It’s time again for a whole piece of meat 😀 El Gaucho is also available in Soi 22 near Terminal 21. I took a seat at the outside bar so I had something to pass the time. I ordered bone marrow and a rib-eye steak and one (or two) Merlots. It started with a ciabatta with butter, oil, and garlic, which was already very tasty (but be careful, it’s quite filling). Then came the bone marrow (which is basically fat). I replaced the bread that came with it with the ciabatta and finished it with garlic. Then came the rib-eye (USDA Prime, medium-rare as ordered) with fries. The meat was good, and the fries were also very good (crispy right down to the last bit). All in all, very tasty, but also quite expensive (although the quality was commensurate).
Oh yes, for dessert there was a scoop of ice cream, although it came more from a ready-made cup 😉 and a Belvedere caramel (which was very sweet).
