So, it’s time to move on. First, we’re going to Singapore and then, more or less, back to Bangkok. Yes, they could have booked better, but since I’m a spontaneous person, I’ll go with it. The drive to the airport wasn’t fun. At first, I thought the driver had gotten his license for free, but no, he was completely exhausted and kept falling asleep.
KUL Airport doesn’t offer much to report. Other than that everything moves very quickly. I was surprised at the first security check that I didn’t have to unpack anything. But it’s also like in Singapore; the actual security check takes place right at the gate. So there are no long lines. Unfortunately, there’s no Star Alliance lounge (only a Oneworld one), so I went to a Starbucks as a lounge substitute for the first time in a long time (but that wasn’t really a highlight either).
When I arrived in Singapore, I wanted to print out my ticket at the transfer counter and also try to see if I could rebook on an earlier flight (a 6-hour wait is no fun, even in the Gold Lounge). It worked perfectly 🙂
