Damascus BBQ

And once again ‘Arabic’, shawarma (we call it kebab). After last night, I was hungry for something light before dinner, so I opted for a shawarma, and here for the Damascus (2.5k reviews on Google). The place is almost always full, and there’s always a line outside (unlike all the others). You get a number and have to wait a good 10 minutes (at 2:30 p.m. in the scorching heat, when there’s no one waiting in line anywhere else). Okay, I ordered lamb with everything (everything actually has extra cheese and is spicy). After filling them, they cook the pieces again on the hot plate (most of the others don’t do that). I have to say that the kebab roll was very good, well-seasoned, and not too heavy. Definitely recommended as a ‘small’ snack.
