LDS Restoran Chao Zhou

I’m slowly working my way up through the night market from the bottom to the top. This time it was Chao Zhou. I was tempted to try the crab again, but was more taken with the fish with mango. There was also cabbage with dried shrimp and some ‘sea snail’ balitong (it said so on the menu), and because it was the weekend, there was also a tiger. What can I say, the fish was incredibly delicious, especially with the strips of mago and onions, and the whole thing was a bit spicy. The balitong were also very tasty, although a bit strange to eat, as you suck the meat out from behind over the broken tip. Some of them were really spicy (but really good). I’ll probably visit the place again. Across the street, someone was eating crab, but it was a real mess 😀 . What I also found funny was that the waitress wrote the whole thing down in Chinese. I find it really fascinating when someone scribbles down a few dozen characters.
