At this day, things had to be a bit simpler again without extensive searching (Google Maps isn’t much use in KL, and you’ll be stuck for street names, too). So, back to the Pavillon and Dolly Dim Zum. It’s been a while since I’ve had dim sum (unless you count Din Tai Fung as one). There’s a menu (some of it with pictures) and a list where you write down your preferences. I may have taken a bit too much, but you do want to have a variety of things. Three classic steamed dishes, one deep-fried dish, then the chicken feet (which are also steamed), and one mixed deep-fried dish in a steamed coating. Then a mango pudding and a dizzyingly sweet drink :D. Everything was actually pretty good, but not quite like what I’ve had in Hong Kong so far. It might have been a bit due to the ambiance; it’s almost a bit too sterile for me (it doesn’t really get that food stall vibe).
