OK, we continued on with Singapore Airlines to Singapore, but this time in First Class ;). At the check-in counter, we were given another ticket, this time from Singapore (okay, the same ticket three times). On board, the usual question: Krug or Dom (and of course, I always go for Krug). Since the beginning of August, the mask requirement has also been lifted on Singapore (at least for guests). After boarding, service started pretty quickly. To start, there was a Singapore Sling and the Satte skewers with peanut sauce. Then you could choose from the extensive menu (both routes are already listed here). To start, there was Caviar, and the second appetizer was Lobster. For the main course, there was Thai curry, and for dessert, a banana split with ice cream. To help with digestion, I had a MacAllen. After that, my bed was made, and I had a good night’s sleep. I woke up three hours before landing and was asked what I wanted for breakfast. There was fruit, yogurt, and scrambled eggs with bacon. MatreeDeCabine then wrote me a few tips for Kuala Lumpur (he was from there).
Here, my opinion was confirmed once again: THERE IS NO BETTER WAY TO FLY. Lufthansa and Swiss are miles away in this regard and rightly lost their 5-star rating (although Swiss is certainly closer). Even if you look at short-haul flights (last picture on the way to KUL), the economy seat is already ten times better, and there’s a full-size business class on the 45-minute flight!
