Arrived in KL on Monday morning, a bit exhausted from a 20-hour flight ;), set up my network, and got the office ready for work. That left little time for research, and the first disappointment was that the Michelin app for KL didn’t yield any results :(. Okay, I Googled what was near the Pullman (I can see one place right from the window, Foodtruck Park, but that wasn’t what I was looking for). Google found Hakka 600m away, and I went there. The restaurant is mostly outdoors (although it can be covered if needed). Lots of large, round tables with the rotating table that’s typical of Chinese restaurants for sharing. You’re not really welcome as a single guest (especially without a reservation). Hakka quickly filled up. I ordered something with Grab and something with egg that was supposed to be wrapped in lettuce leaves. It was actually very good, and I think I’ll go there again (especially since it’s very close).
Oh yes, the property it is located on seems to be very sought after 😉
