This time, we tried something truly Swedish: Nomad. The ambiance is a bit ‘industrial’ and somewhat reminiscent of IKEA 😉 . For starters, we had homemade herring in three varieties (mustard, onions, and lingonberries), the mustard version being the best. Then we had meatballs with mashed potatoes, lingonberries, and pickled cucumbers. We had a small IPA to drink. For dessert, we had a small vanilla pannacotta with rhubarb compote (which was especially delicious).
At first, I thought reservations were unnecessary, but around 7:00 p.m., the place filled up pretty quickly, and many guests were turned away without reservations. The menu itself doesn’t really have much to offer, but it was pretty good. Okay, the service wasn’t quite as good.
