I actually only chose the Birger Jarl because it had the best reviews for internet speed 🙂 (when working digitally, you have to set your priorities). At first, I was shocked: the internet connection dropped every 30 minutes 🙁 . That seemed a bit odd to me, so I quickly connected the backup router (Mango) and behold, everything worked perfectly (so the router has a problem, and it’s a good thing I got a replacement).
Now, the hotel itself. It’s relatively centrally located, so you (I, that is) can reach everything on foot, which is very important to me. The room isn’t very big but adequate (it’s good that the desk is a bit bigger). There are also several supermarkets nearby (for buying water). The room included breakfast, something I never normally book, as I don’t usually eat breakfast. But once you’ve paid for it, the Swabian in you comes out. I must also say, though, that the selection and quality are very good (they even have two types of herring for breakfast).
