Swiss First BKK – ZRH

After the last flight here was in an Airbus A340 600, this one was again in the regularly used Boeing 777. This time it was a day flight. Covid is still messing things up here too. I’ve already written about the lounge, now a few details about the flight. The PA picked me up in the lounge and took me to the plane (which you could do alone). Then he escorted me past the queue at the gate, something I wouldn’t dare do without an PA 😉 People always give you dirty looks, but if the PA in uniform is polite, then it’s okay. On the plane, we were given a glass of champagne and some warmed nuts. We were also given pajamas (which I used to always like to take with me). The Swiss amenity kit isn’t really anything special either (I leave them behind now even after I’ve used them). The Ricola in it is good ;). After takeoff, service begins relatively quickly. Everything was actually very good except for the fish (which, as is typical for airplanes, is always quite dry). After that, I had the bed made and took a nap. Unusually, since it was a day flight, there was no breakfast when I woke up, but something warm again (if you wanted). I opted for the quiche, which was actually pretty good. But I still had a short stay in the lounge, where I wanted to eat something again 😉 Overall, it was a very pleasant flight with a good crew. The only thing that was a joke was the arrival at ZRH. First, they pulled up their finger, then moved it away again and pulled it up to the business section. But then they put me back up to the front of the first section. I then took a Sprinter bus straight to passport control (no Alpine train). And from there, the elevator went straight to the lounge :).
